A key to healthy eating Habits

Having variety of healthy food is the key to a healthy eating habits. Eating fresh fruits is much better than of candy, chocolates, processed juice etc. So, here are my tips for those who want to have a healthy body and a sound mind:

1. Eat a variety of nutrient-rich foods. Enjoy plenty of whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Your daily food selection should include bread and other whole-grain products; fruits; vegetables;

2. Maintain a healthy weight. The weight that’s right for you depends on many factors including your sex, height, age and heredity.

3. Eat moderate portions

4. Eat regular meals. Skipping meals can lead to out-of-control hunger, often resulting in overeating.

5. Reduce, don’t eliminate certain foods. Most people eat for pleasure as well as nutrition. If your favorite foods are high in fat, salt or sugar, the key is moderating how much of these foods you eat and how often you eat them.
Identify major sources of these ingredients in your diet and make changes, if necessary.

6. Balance your food choices over time.

Dreams

Did you know that dreaming is often called a paradox because the body becomes inactive, almost corpse like, but the mind produces the sensation of unlimited freedom of movement? Aside from hallucination or insanity, dreaming is the only experience we have of living fully in a word without limitations.

We may have a dull, boring, routine life but when we dream we can partake of high adventure. There are many types of dreams. Some are simply “venting’ dreams that allow the mind to purge most of the countless images that bombard us daily. Bizarre dream that make no sense are often venting dreams. Another type of dream is the prophetic dreams, which tell us something about our future, often warning. Although scientist does not understand how dream can be predict the future, there are countless examples that suggest this occurs. One such example comes to us from history. Augustus Caesar was ill and resting in his tent. A friend had a troubling dream and persuades Augustus to leave his tent, which he did. Just few hours later the area was captured by his enemies and the bed on which Augustus had been sleeping was pierced with their enemies. The bible also has many examples of dreams prophecies, such as the impending famine of Egypt revealed to Joseph the dreamer about fat and lean cattle. Whether we believe in dram prophecy or not, it would not be a bad idea t pay a little closer attention to some of your dreams.

How to stay on diet…

1. Set some goal- makes chart or program list. Fill in your current weight, then a pounds list of your desire weight. Jot down the numbers of weeks that will take to reach your goal.
2. Don’t expect dieting is easy- there will be hungry days, while doing some diet, don’t get into crush diet make it gradually, adjust it to the smaller amount of food, then most of all lesser your sugar and fatty intake.
3. Never on crush diet- crash diet usually depends on change in water balance for rapid weight loss. Just remember you just lose the fat not the water.
4. Never skip meal- skipping meal will make you hungry that will lead you to long for more food.
5. Take a little bite and eat slowly- you will think you are eating more don’t be alarm our stomach have time to signal when we are full.
6. When you go out to eat try Chinese food- many of their dishes are low in calories.
7. Take a long walk each day after dinner- plan to go bowling, play tennis and strolling instead of watching movie.
8. When you lost five or ten pounds, get a girdle to make yourself shapelier.
9. Get enough sleep so that you will have more will power if you are well rested.
10. Don’t forget to fill up some liquids like tea, water, and lower-calorie soda drink; it can help you fill an empty stomach.
11. Make a note that had help you in your diet. Make them a daily habit.

Time and faith

I guess time determines the moment when we plant or reap on what we sow in our life and the moment when we laugh or cry. I learn that we should appreciate the time and value life. I understand that every minute counts may we wisely invest our second, minutes, hour and day. I say this because of my last experienced, that I disregard an opportunity that could brings me into prosperity life. Now I understand my father always remind me never disregard on small things. I observed nowadays many of us trust in money as the ultimate source of security and happiness, but that’s the wrong concepts about money. Money can’t bring true and lasting happiness. The true-life pleasure are only found in our faith and loves to others. Having also many friends and being rich are great blessing, but popularity and success do not guarantee a happy life. President and Prime Minister may have high approval rating for while but they don’t last. Happiness and contentment found only if we put GOD into the midst of our lives.

Step for relaxation

Perform this exercise twice a day, preferably when you get up in the morning or before going to sleep.

- Stretch your legs, feeling tension in all muscles. Stretch them tighter; hold for a few seconds. Then let go, and feel relaxation spreading through all the muscles of your toes, feet calves and thighs. Repeat with your arms, chest, stomach, and back to your face.
- Take a very slow deep breath exercise, and hold for about 12 seconds, slowly let it out, feeling tension and anxieties pouring out as you do. Repeat it twice.
- Think of pleasant scenes, events and things that make you feel calm and relaxed, feeling relaxation throughout your body. Feel the sensation of relaxation that the scene aroused. Repeat to yourself as you see and experience the scene. I feel calm and relaxed.
- Recall a scene or events that makes you feel tense or angry, and see and feel it as vividly as you can. Switch to calm, relaxed scene immediately. Let yourself feel calm and relaxed, repeat twice. As you remain relaxed, see your tense, angry scene-but this time, don’t let it bother you.

This exercise method helps me a lot, when I’m feeling stress or exhausted in work.

Spent wisely

1. A regular allowance, no matter how small, helps give a child a sense of independence and responsibility. He learns how money can be used to buy things he needs or wants.
2. Do not give him more money when he runs short of so that he will learn to limit his expenditures. If he needs to have money badly, give him some but consider it an advance to be deducted from his next allowance.
3. Don’t use money emotionally. Giving money a reward for good behavior or withdrawing or reducing his allowance as punishment for misconduct.
4. Encourage your child to earn. Teach him to earn for future use.
5. Get your children to share in money decision, when buying some expensive things. Discuss it with your children and let them offer suggestion.
6. The important factor is to train your children in managing of money. No child is too young to be train by his parents about money matters, the earlier is the better so that they will value even a single cent how to spent it wisely.

It takes two to tango

People are the most important asset. Whether you like it or not, in today’s world we have to deal with people. Very few of us can afford to go off to the woods to live the lives of hermits. In order to make most of our endeavors successful, we need other people. Mostly prosperous businessman is not necessarily the hardest working one or the brainiest. They are successful in their field because of other people and the way they handle to deal effectively with them. Some of us have this precious knowledge by intuition, but most of us must acquire skills to do it. We need other people to achieve the needs of both parties to be successful. The same applies in everyday life. Effective human relation will work only when we have a good relation with other people.

Life is full of test to strengthen our faith

Everyday is an important day and every second is a growth opportunity to our character, to develop our love or depend to GOD. Some test seems overwhelming while others we don’t notice it. The good news is that GOD wants to pass the test of our life; he allows them to be greater than the grace he gives us trials so we can stand and handle them. The Bible says “ GOD keep his promise and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it and so provide you with a way out”. Every time we pass the test, God make plans to reward us to eternity. We don’t know the entire test that GOD will give us but we can predict some of them. Sometimes God will test my faith to him, my hope, by how to handle possessions and test my love through other people. That’s why I always pray and ask God for strength, more faith and hope.

- Eat food with a high foliate content or foods enriched with folic acid. Good dietary choices are green leafy veggies, dried beans, oranges and fortified breads, pastas and cereal.

- Before pregnancy and while you are pregnant take a daily multivitamins that include at least 400 micrograms of  folic acid.

- See your doctor for check-up before you are pregnant, and get regular pre-natal care throughout your pregnancy.

- Stop drinking alcohol while you’re trying to conceive and never drink alcohol during pregnancy.

- Make sure the medicines you take are safe during pregnancy. Check with your doctor.

Exercise can boost self-confidence, release pleasure-inducing chemicals in the brain and a sense of well-being, all of which combat stress.
