A key to healthy eating Habits

Having variety of healthy food is the key to a healthy eating habits. Eating fresh fruits is much better than of candy, chocolates, processed juice etc. So, here are my tips for those who want to have a healthy body and a sound mind:

1. Eat a variety of nutrient-rich foods. Enjoy plenty of whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Your daily food selection should include bread and other whole-grain products; fruits; vegetables;

2. Maintain a healthy weight. The weight that’s right for you depends on many factors including your sex, height, age and heredity.

3. Eat moderate portions

4. Eat regular meals. Skipping meals can lead to out-of-control hunger, often resulting in overeating.

5. Reduce, don’t eliminate certain foods. Most people eat for pleasure as well as nutrition. If your favorite foods are high in fat, salt or sugar, the key is moderating how much of these foods you eat and how often you eat them.
Identify major sources of these ingredients in your diet and make changes, if necessary.

6. Balance your food choices over time.

Mental Health Tips: These are the helpful health tips for mental/mind. Life is full of stress and tests. We have to balance our life to have peace of mind.

A. Eat right, Keep fit
A balanced diet, exercise and rest can help you to reduce stress and enjoy life.

These relationships need to be nurtured; if taken for granted they will not be there to share life’s joys and sorrows.

Sharing a problem with others who have had similar experiences may help you find a solution and will make you feel less isolated.

H. Deal with your Moods
We all need to find safe and constructive ways to express our feelings of anger, sadness, joy and fear.

I. Learn to Be at Peace with Yourself
Get to know whom you are, what make you really happy, and learn to balance what you can and cannot change about yourself.

Make this day a meaningful to others

Today we celebrating Valentine’s Day and the air are full of love. I notice that many couples spent their valentines at the mall having their dinner date. My wife and I we celebrate it, attending mass this afternoon and have a simple dinner date with our son.

Anyway, how Valentines Day got started? Why Valentines Day is symbolized or associated with Cupids? Have you ever wondered why? When I was a kid, I used to believe that cupids are part of it. The story of Cupid is about love. Cupid fell in love with Psyche, a mortal. They got married with the condition that Psyche is not allowed to see Cupid. Until one day, she defied this condition but Cupid ran away from her. Consequently, she wanted to be reunited with Cupid. So, Psyche paid a visit to Venus, Cupid’s mother. She did several trials and tests. And she passed. As a reward, Venus reunited Psyche and Cupid. Sooner or later, Cupid and Psyche gave birth to a child named pleasure. So before this day ends, don’t waste time-spent time with your family or friends, life is so short. Make this day a meaningful to others.

Positive thoughts

Recently, I’m reading a book about how to become a successful in career. It tells that many successful people had been able to full fill their dreams because they have gotten into their thoughts. They train their mind and thoughts to achieve in getting to be successful. In real life, we stumbled failure.

What I figure out my pass experience, Failure is a part of stepping stone to be success. I learn our mistakes and accepted the fact that I have to take a risk something in order to succeed. Without any risking you cannot start what you are longing in your life. We must have the courage to face failure or risk if we want to succeed. There is no security in life, the security we think surrounds us is merely an illusion. If you don’t take any chances or risk, it’s always been the same as are you today. I ask my old friend how he does, he become a successful in he’s business. He answered to me that there are no secrets of being success; you wont see your dreams turn into reality, until you take active step to get what you want. It’s the same hold that we must project about the goals we wanted to wish to attend. We must tattooed in our thought, take a step and gear our thoughts into the direction we desired. What I have learned is always having positive thoughts and opens to any opportunities that come in order to achieve our goals in life.

Sleepwalking

When we extremely tired, sometime we get a difficulty sleeping between 9 to 11 am and between 7 and 9 pm. When were sleeping, a biochemical switch in the brain prevents the brain from ordering your muscles to move. If this switch did not work, according to the researcher who conducts a study that a person would walk, talk or even commit violent act while sleeping. This is one of the causes of sleepwalking. In a conditions known as a night terror victims physically act out their dreams while in a sleep walking state. Person should have the average of sleep at least 8 hours per night. The chimpanzee gets about 10 hours of sleep a day, researcher shown that if we are removed form the stress of modern world, we will sleep of average of 10 hours a day. Sleep depression has become a national malady because of other country like here in the Philippines there some so much night life and this will affect our performance at work or even at home. If you are have nightmare and cannot move, just blink your eyes or wiggle your tongue to break the paralysis.

Dreams

Did you know that dreaming is often called a paradox because the body becomes inactive, almost corpse like, but the mind produces the sensation of unlimited freedom of movement? Aside from hallucination or insanity, dreaming is the only experience we have of living fully in a word without limitations.

We may have a dull, boring, routine life but when we dream we can partake of high adventure. There are many types of dreams. Some are simply “venting’ dreams that allow the mind to purge most of the countless images that bombard us daily. Bizarre dream that make no sense are often venting dreams. Another type of dream is the prophetic dreams, which tell us something about our future, often warning. Although scientist does not understand how dream can be predict the future, there are countless examples that suggest this occurs. One such example comes to us from history. Augustus Caesar was ill and resting in his tent. A friend had a troubling dream and persuades Augustus to leave his tent, which he did. Just few hours later the area was captured by his enemies and the bed on which Augustus had been sleeping was pierced with their enemies. The bible also has many examples of dreams prophecies, such as the impending famine of Egypt revealed to Joseph the dreamer about fat and lean cattle. Whether we believe in dram prophecy or not, it would not be a bad idea t pay a little closer attention to some of your dreams.

More melamine products found in China

Did you know that melamine-tainted dairy products were pulled out from store shelves at Southern China more than a year after hundreds of thousand of children had been sickened in a massive milk safety scandals. The announcement calls into question the effectiveness of a crack down launched by Chinese officials to improve their products safety after a number of scandals, including the contamination of baby formula in 2008 and the recent study of the toxic metal cadmium in cheap jewelry. Frozen milk products and cartons of milk dating from early 2009 were taken off the shelves after health inspector tested them and found with melamine contain by Guizhou provincial government spokeswoman Ling Hu. She said that provincial health bureau was checking some store, they found out some products that have suspected melamine contain has not yet remove from the shelves.
